The Zero Degree Knee is designed by surgeons to support in-home rehabilitation to achieve optimal knee extension and flexion therapy following a total knee replacement, arthroscopic knee surgery or ACL surgery. The device elevates the lower extremity and allows gravity to pull the knee passively and gently into an extended position.
The sliding capability allows a patient to work on knee flexion exercises to help restore range of motion. Failure to practice extension within the first few weeks of recovery, could cause a setback and cause long-term adverse effects to the knee.
