BoneFoam Leg Tunnels are lateral leg positioners designed to create a strong, stable operative surface while protecting the down leg. The Leg Tunnel is inserted between the thighs, with the tunnel side facing down and can be secured to a table with the included straps.
Consistent lateral positioning of a patient can be challenging for multiple reasons including availability of OR staff, body habitus of the patient, and the size of the surgical field required for a successful surgery. The Leg Tunnel supports proper positioning of the patient in the lateral decubitus position and is easily reproducible for all OR staff.
